How it works

Every coin on Hashy is mined before anyone can buy it. Miners get the first coins. No one gets coins for free, not even the creator.

  1. 1Pick a coin that’s being mined, or create your own.
  2. 2Connect your wallet and add a small amount of SOL from it to pay for mining. Mining starts right away.
  3. 3Keep the tab open. Your computer does calculations while you mine, and each minute costs a small amount of SOL. The longer you mine, the more coins you get.
  4. 4When mining ends, all the SOL miners paid is used to buy the coin first, up to 20% of all coins. No one can buy before the miners.
  5. 5Your coins arrive in your wallet within seconds. There’s nothing to claim. Any SOL that wasn’t used is sent back to you too.
  6. 6Then anyone can buy and sell. Once 64 SOL has been bought in, the coin graduates. The money backing its trading is locked and can never be withdrawn.
Fees, refunds and questions

Launch a coin

Choose how long your coin is mined and what each proof costs. When mining ends, the miners’ fees make the first buy, the coins go straight to the miners, and your coin starts trading on a bonding curve.

The coin
Mining window

30 rounds of 1 min each. Longer windows give more people time to join; shorter ones open trading sooner.

Mining starts

Mining never opens sooner than 30 sec after launch, so everyone sees your coin before anyone can mine it, you included.

Mining price

Miners pay 0.01 SOL a minute on a typical laptop, the same on every coin. It all goes into the opening buy and comes back to them as coins. Mining the whole window costs a typical laptop about 0.3 SOL; a phone pays less and a fast desktop more.
